Vortex, AKA LA VIS screw, is another of the material-specific screws, meaning it has been designed for screwing polymeric materials such as PMMA and printed resin direct to the multi-unit abutment. The Vortex screw is also under patent in America which means we cannot supply to the US market. The Vortex screw has a 2.2mm screw head with tapering sides and a unique radius on the screw head. It is optimised to distribute stress through the polymer and is the first of the new generation of such screws.
