SOM® 62 Ophthal Basic+

The SOM® 62 Ophthal Basic+ is an ophthalmology microscope developed for cataract surgery featuring motorised XY coupling with foot-controlled positioning. The microscope head can be moved quickly and precisely along both axes with a 50 x 50 mm range of movement without taking hands away from the operating field. The advanced foot control panel manages both focus control and XY movement. The Basic+ combines intuitive handling with a modular system architecture that is expandable for future requirements. It features an advanced foot pedal for focus and XY coupling control, rotary knobs for adjusting focus speed and light intensity, and modular construction allowing retrofit of binocular wide-angle swing tube (0-210°) and additional accessories.
