A low-melting glass ceramic system with excellent properties, specially designed for universal alloys. PLATINAm offers natural color brilliance, translucency, opalescence, and fluorescence. It features easy processing similar to conventional dental ceramics, excellent layering and modeling capabilities, and outstanding resistance. Available in all sixteen VITA shades plus bleaching shades A0 and B0. The basic range includes opaque pastes, opaque dentines, dentines, incisal, glaze and translucent masses. Additional products include shoulder masses, dentin modifiers, effect incisals, correction masses, mammellon masses and effect shades. The new "wash opaker" opaque paste prevents yellow-green reactions on metal surfaces when veneering NEM frameworks and increases adhesion between metal framework and veneer ceramic through microretentions.
