is versatile as an auxiliary in dentistry.
Indications
- Embalm the patient's oral region prior to impression taking
- Mix with zinc oxide-eugenol based cements for trial wearing of crowns and bridges, to easily remove them again
- Grease a bridge segment (crown opening protection) with vaseline to more easily remove cement residues after hardening
- Cover composite fillings and/or composite veneers before building up bite correction splints or similar with acrylic, to prevent co-polymerization
- Isolate matrices for glass ionomer fillings
