The "Bernard" Root Elevator, sized at 5.0 mm, is excellent for removing fractured roots or root remnants. It combines the functions of a root tip elevator and a periotome. The inner side is concave, and the side edges are sharp. With rotating movements and slight pressure, the ligaments can be separated, and the root fragment loosened.
