SCHOTT FOTURAN® II

SCHOTT FOTURAN® II is a photo-structurable glass-ceramic material with excellent versatility used in a large number of applications. It is suitable for titer plates in microfluidics, power inductors in MEMS systems, probe cards in semiconductors, as well as biotech and micro-optics components. The material offers easy structuring, high compatibility, efficient via creation, high insulation, low signal attenuation, excellent optical transparency, low self-fluorescence, high chemical stability, and thermal resistance. It can be structured using a tightly focused FS laser beam or etching, and enables production of 3D micro-optical components, optical waveguides, and 3D micro-channels.
