CERAN Luminoir® is an innovative glass-ceramic material for cooktops that combines deep black appearance with high light transmission. It enables LED light colors (white and blue) to shine through clearly and brilliantly, with white-light intensity up to five times brighter than conventional glass-ceramics. The material offers uniformly high transmission over the entire visible light spectrum and does not require additional filters or coatings. It is available in multiple variants including standard Luminoir®, Luminoir® S (with smooth underside), HIGHTRANS® eco S (for red light), and Luminoir® TFT (supporting high-resolution multicolor TFT displays). Key applications include active cooking zone illumination, smart operation controls with seven-segment lighting and TFT displays, and ambient kitchen lighting.
