Surgi-ORC® Fibril Absorbable Haemostat is a sterile product made up of oxidized regenerated cellulose. Surgi-ORC®Fibril is tufts of soft lightweight oxidized regenerated cellulose with superior handling characteristics and having 7 layers of fibrillose fabric. It is a natural, plant-based Absorbable Haemostatic designed to stop capillary, venous and minor arterial bleeding. The haemostat can be peeled off easily to hold with forceps and can be used in any size as per requirement to obtain haemostasis at a particular bleeding site. It is completely absorbable and has bactericidal properties due to a low PH value.
