The foil test is a common and very inexpensive way to check the ultrasound or cavitation performance in the ultrasonic bath.
The special aluminum foil (30μ) is adapted to the dimensions of the test frame. The pre-cut foil is placed in the frame.
Afterwards, the filled frame is positioned accordingly in the ultrasonic bath. After the cleaning process, the foil will be visibly attacked.
The resulting foil images provide a basis for evaluating the ultrasound performance or distribution in the ultrasonic bath.
The test should be performed weekly.
