SEFUSE® thermal links are safety devices that operate on the principle of melting a thermal element to shut off electrical current when ambient temperature reaches a hazardous level. SCHOTT offers a wide selection of thermal links covering a full range of operating temperatures and rated currents. Two types are available: SF-type using thermosensitive material as the thermal pellet, and SM-type using a fusible alloy. Both types are suitable for a wide range of applications and do not contain hazardous substances, complying with WEEE and RoHS standards.
