PURAVIS® Glass Optical Fibers

PURAVIS® glass optical fibers are premium optical fibers manufactured by SCHOTT for use in medical endoscopy and robotic surgery applications. The portfolio includes three variants with different light emission angles: GOF70, GOF85, and GOF120 degrees. These fibers are known for superior light performance, high autoclave resistance, longevity, and excellent transmission performance. They are used in light guide applications with lengths up to seven meters, providing optimal tissue visualization for surgeons. The fibers feature advanced silane-based coating processes that optimize surface properties, ensure good bonding, and enhance durability during endoscope installation and use.
