PaX-i HD+ digital high-end OPG with autofocus - convinces in all respects
The PaX-i HD+ delivers the finest image quality in daily practice. This is made possible by two innovations: autofocus (HD) and Ultra HD (UHD). The Automatic Layer Selection Algorithm (ALSA) calculates the sharpest available layer with autofocus and thus compensates for positioning errors and slight motion artifacts. With Ultra HD, the special recording mode generates twice as many individual exposures in an extended rotation and creates an extremely high-resolution panoramic image. Instead of a line sensor like conventional OPGs, the PaX-i has a CMOS area sensor. The area sensor takes multiple predefined layers during a rotation. The sharpest areas of each layer are combined into an image in the anatomically most demanding areas [region of interest], front and back tooth area, with the ALSA.
