Safe insulation for plastic prosthetics. Good insulation is the basis for a precisely fitting prosthetic restoration. Aislar® is a formaldehyde-free, aqueous alginate-based solution for insulating plaster surfaces against prosthetic plastics and composites. There are very diverse requirements for an insulation, such as a fast drying time, smooth surface reproduction and a perfect separation. These properties are fulfilled by Aislar® for both heat-curing and cold-curing prosthetic plastics. Advantages
