IPS e.max® CAD LT A16

The 'Abutment Solutions' area is new for use with CEREC/inLab, starting from software version V4.2. Here, hybrid abutments and hybrid abutment crowns are fabricated individually from lithium disilicate blocks and bonded to a titanium base. The IPS e.max CAD A14 block has a pre-fabricated interface, e.g. for the Sirona Ti-Base, is suitable for the fabrication of individual hybrid abutments and is available in five MO colors, as well as in the LT translucency in 10 A-D shades. The IPS e.max CAD A16 block version is ideal for screw-retained hybrid abutment crowns. This block is delivered in the LT translucency, also with a pre-fabricated interface for the Sirona Ti-Base. The hybrid abutment crowns are screwed directly into the implants. The bonding of the crown and abutment, and thus the excess removal between abutment and crown, is eliminated. The 'S' and 'L' sizes correspond to the sizes of the Ti-Bases.
