Split-Control Basic is a system for gentle widening of the alveolar ridge and simultaneous lateral bone condensation in cases of horizontal bone deficiency. Using special screw-shaped condensing and spreading instruments (spreaders), horizontally resorbed bone can be controlled and gently expanded (Bone Spreading). Additionally, spongy bone is condensed thanks to the special geometry of the spreaders (Bone Condensing), thereby increasing the primary stability of the inserted implants.
Split-Control Basic is an entry-level system with a reduced set of instruments and spreaders measuring 12 mm in length.
