The finishing and contouring system for the design of proximal contacts contains diamond-coated abrasive strips that are necessary for the successful restoration of many different cases. Suitable for use in proximal enamel reduction, for the reduction of contact points, for finishing and contouring of proximal contacts, for the removal of cement or cleaning of crowns and bridges, as well as for separating accidentally connected teeth. The system contains both single-sided and double-sided coated strips. All strips are equipped with a unique feature: by simply turning the color-coded cylinder, the straight strip (for the reduction of contact points) can be transformed into a curved strip (for the proximal contouring). This simple hand movement spares the muscles of the practitioner. The interchangeable handle can be easily attached to all components, significantly increasing the ease of use and patient comfort.
