EMS Biofilm Discloser

The EMS Biofilm Discloser is the second step in the GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) protocol for visualizing dental biofilm. It makes biofilm visible on teeth and soft tissues, even in hard-to-reach areas, enabling more efficient and accurate removal. The discloser uses erythrosine, a two-tone dye that differentiates between mature biofilm (older than 3 days) and fresh biofilm (younger than 3 days). This visualization prevents excessive use of instruments and guides the practitioner during treatment while motivating patients to improve their home oral hygiene habits. Compared to conventional professional tooth cleaning, biofilm visualization allows for targeted removal and significantly better results. The product is supplied in a plastic bottle containing 250 pre-filled beads, each ready to use, making it simple and convenient for clinical and home use.
