The AIRFLOW® MAX handpiece is the latest development by EMS Dental in air polishing technology designed to enhance the efficiency, comfort and safety of Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). It uses patented Laminar AIRFLOW® (LAT) technology, developed in Switzerland and built directly into the nozzle, to ensure unparalleled precision. The technology provides better visibility of the treatment area, greater efficiency, and significant reduction in aerosol. Features an innovative powder reservoir design that combines maximum efficiency with shorter treatment time, allowing reduced powder consumption and increased cost-effectiveness. The ergonomic design includes a thinner handpiece and reduced weight for increased convenience and comfort during prolonged use. The compressed air now reaches sonic speed inside the nozzle, resulting in significant noise reduction—3 times less noise at recommended device settings.
