Digital intraoral camera with interchangeable head principle The VistaCam iX delivers brilliant images and offers a wide range of applications through the intelligent interchangeable head mechanism. It can assist in caries diagnosis, early detection and plaque visualization through the different interchangeable heads. Video clips can also be recorded. The Cam interchangeable head provides consistently evenly illuminated intraoral images of excellent quality thanks to the integrated LEDs. With the Proof interchangeable head, thanks to fluorescence, carious lesions can be detected and plaque can be displayed using software analysis. This makes caries and plaque on occlusal and smooth surfaces visible. In the violet LED light, cariogenic bacteria appear red and healthy enamel green. The Proxi interchangeable head makes, thanks to infrared technology, healthy tooth enamel translucent and carious lesions appear bright and opaque. Approximal caries can thus be detected not only at an early stage but also gently.
