The root elevator "Bein" features a working part measuring 2.5 mm, which is flat and straight, suitable for tooth extraction.It is advisable, prior to extraction, to separate the periosteum and ligaments around the tooth using a root elevator. Once the tooth has been loosened, it can then be extracted either with forceps or a root elevator. This prior separation helps facilitate a minimally invasive extraction.
