Nano Black Loupe Light

Nano Black is a multi-use wireless loupe light based on the powerful Nano Freedom2 platform. It is the first integrated multi-wavelength LED light that includes a selectable daylight or violet light. It allows hands-free regular or fluorescent illumination for easy visualization of adhesives for debonding brackets or caries visualization. The Nano Black system utilizes a violet light headlight to excite bacterial byproducts associated with caries, calculus, and peri-implantitis, causing them to fluoresce. Through specially filtered Safeloupe Insert that blocks the excitation wavelengths, clinicians can clearly visualize these fluorescing areas without the use of dyes or chemicals — enabling real-time, hands-free detection of mature biofilm, caries, and peri-implantitis. Additionally, it enhances visibility of decayed or diseased tissue, composites, and malignant soft tissue by creating a clear contrast between healthy structures and areas with dark or orange fluorescence. In restorative procedures, Nano Black simplifies composite removal and cavity preparation by highlighting the exact boundaries between decayed and healthy tooth structures, reducing the risk of over-cutting.
