Contex®

Paste-like anti-flux agent for precious metal soldering. Precious metal surfaces covered or delimited against the solder area with this material are not wetted by solder. This prevents the unwanted sealing of the solder on the areas adjacent to the solder joint. The carbon paste has proven particularly effective when soldering friction pins, anchoring/root pins, attachments & joints, in repairs and wherever targeted soldering is required. Suitable for all colored gold alloys & palladium-containing white gold alloys (not for nickel-containing white gold alloys)
