DUROBAX® is a technical glass tubing with formidable chemical and hydrolytic resistance, precise geometry, UV-shielding capabilities, and thermal stability. It features hydrolytic resistance of HGB1 and acid resistance of S-1, making it suitable for laboratory and industrial environments. The amber variant offers ultraviolet and partly blue light absorption up to 500 nm wavelength for protecting sensitive liquids. It provides highly stable coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CTE) ideal for thermal sensors in sprinkler systems.
