SCHOTT CERAN® is a glass-ceramic cooktop material found in kitchens worldwide. It seamlessly combines with a range of cooking technologies, from induction and radiant heat to gas hobs. Key properties include impact resistance, thermal shock resistance, and chemical resistance. CERAN® offers a wide range of design options, ease of cleaning, eco-friendliness, and hygiene maintenance. The material was created by SCHOTT in 1971 using technology developed for space travel.
