SCHOTT B 270®

B 270® is a versatile optical glass that has been relied upon for decades by customers for a wide variety of applications, from standard optical components to packaging solutions for consumer electronics. It offers excellent optical transmission of up to 92% at 2 mm thickness across the 400–1100 nm spectral range, outstanding scratch and impact resistance, and proven weatherability. The material features homogenous transmittance properties and an outstandingly smooth, fire-polished surface suitable for coatings. Applications include night vision systems, indoor farming LED lighting, optical filters, digital projection systems, life sciences and biotech diagnostics, and reference coating samples.
