SCHOTT Passivation Glass is a diverse range of glass frit compositions - including lead-free options - precisely matched with electrical components. The products feature excellent insulation resistance due to expert selection and processing of high-quality materials with very low alkali content. Thermal expansion coefficients are matched to semiconductor components through compositions containing zinc, lead, silicate, and borate combinations, with lead-free powders also containing bismuth. Available as high-purity glass types with standard and custom-made passivation glass formulations, supplied as glass powder in various grain sizes.
