ERGOPLANT Osteotome
curved 4mm · Aesculap · #DX517R
Length 160 mm. For low bone thickness up to 3 mm, the jaw bone can be split in the middle and separated by special chisels, the so-called osteotomes. This creates a bone gap (bone split) between the buccal and lingual or buccal and palatal bone lamellae. An implant can then be inserted into the "gained" bone gap. The ERGOPLANT handle concept supports the user. The stepped osteotome was specially developed for safe bone splitting, with simultaneous gradual expansion. The alveolar ridge is first expanded towards the palatal and then towards the vestibular. After removal, the "preselection site" for the implant drill is clearly visible.
