SURGISPON® Nasal/Dermal Care is a sterile and absorbable gelatin sponge used for the treatment of mild to moderate nose bleeds and dermal wound care. SURGISPON® Nasal/Dermal care has a microporous structure that allows activation of thrombin. It is used for persistent Nasal and Dermal bleedings resulting from injuries, accidents, allergies, and excessive blood loss. Made up of 100% Pharmaceutical gelatin and is hypoallergenic, sterile, natural, and safe. Can be cut according to the dimensions and shape of the wound using scissors and secured with a bandage. Ideal carrier for drugs and antibiotics.
