ZERODUR® is a low thermal expansion glass-ceramic material designed for high-tech applications requiring precision and homogeneity. It features minimal thermal expansion and easy machinability, making it ideal for telescope mirror substrates, space applications, precision measurement equipment, navigation systems, and microelectronics manufacturing. Applications include monolithic and segmented telescope mirrors, satellite mirror substrates, industrial measurement scales and gauges, ring laser gyroscope components, and lithographic optics for semiconductor and display manufacturing.
