SCHOTT's comprehensive range of sealing glasses and solder glasses for high-temperature sealing and joining applications. Sealing glasses (processing temperature 800-1000°C) create hermetic, highly insulating electrical seals between different materials such as metal, ceramics, or glasses. Solder glasses (softening point below 550°C) allow joining of glass to other glasses, ceramics, or metals without thermal damage. Both are available as powders or sintered preforms. The product line also includes granulates and preforms with customized geometric shapes and sizes.
