SCHOTT NEXTREMA® is a high-tech technical glass-ceramic material with a vast range of properties suitable for wide variety of uses. This material can withstand very high temperatures, making it ideal for applications such as IR heaters and industrial machinery. Features include excellent IR transmittance, thermal shock resistance, near-zero thermal expansion, and broad transmittance spectrum. Used as carrier plates, heater covers, and insulation in high-temperature processes including AMOLED display manufacturing, IR heaters for domestic and industrial settings, patio heaters, industrial dryers, soldering machines, BBQ applications, and household appliances.
