A tapered post system with split shank design that redirects insertion stresses towards the post instead of the root. Features include a tapered tip providing smooth transition between post and root canal, SharpThreads that cut into dentin instead of compressing it, a venting channel to avoid hydrostatic pressure during cementation, wider coronal shank for increased intimacy of fit, serrated head design for excellent retention of core buildup materials, and cross slots in post head for wrench placement in narrow areas. Post and drills are packaged in color coded blister packs for easy identification, storage, and handling.
