FISIOGRAFT is a medical device for regenerative surgery with bioabsorbable compounds of polylactic acid (PLA) and polyglycolic acid (PGA). The contact surface is bone tissue, with contact duration between 60 and 180 days. Designed for professional use (dentists, implantologists, periodontologists, maxillofacial surgeons). Single-use formulation sterilized by gamma rays (25 kGy). The PLA-PGA copolymer has low density and functions as a reabsorbable space maintainer between the bone defect plane and stretched connective tissue above. It allows osteocytes to replace it in a relatively short period, up to the formation of natural bone tissue. The polymer is biocompatible, hypoallergenic, and produces no inflammatory response. Fisiograft is progressively and totally penetrated and replaced by trabecular bone.
