SCHOTT ROBAX® IR SuperMax heat-reflective coating

This coated fire-viewing panel reflects significantly more heat back into the combustion chamber than an uncoated ROBAX® panel to provide a comfortable room temperature and prevent overheating. The ROBAX® IR SuperMax coating achieves an even higher reflection of heat radiation back into the combustion chamber compared to ROBAX® IR Max or an uncoated ROBAX® fire-viewing panel. Due to increased heating of the inside of the glass-ceramic panel, the surface of the panel is less subject to soot buildup. This pyrolysis-like effect allows for an unclouded, clear view of the fire and significantly reduces the cleaning effort. Additionally, reduction of emissions is possible.
