SCHOTT PYRANOVA® fire-resistant glass

PYRANOVA® is a clear, laminated composite glass that offers outstanding levels of fire resistance thanks to a combination of thin glass panes and internal layers. In the event of a fire, these layers foam up to prevent the passage of heat radiation, smoke and flames, protecting people at evacuation routes. PYRANOVA® meets all the requirements of fire resistance classes EI 15 to EI 120 and EW 30 to EW 60. The product is suitable for fire-resistant glazing in buildings, particularly for passages such as fire escapes, emergency exits and staircases. ISO PYRANOVA® is also available as a variant, incorporating PYRANOVA® in a double-glazed unit with enhanced anti-glare protection, sound and heat insulation.
