SCHOTT® low-loss glass

SCHOTT® low-loss glass is an advanced packaging material for high-frequency applications. With a low dielectric constant of Dk = 4.0 and exceptionally low dielectric loss of tan = 0.0021@10GHz, it enables efficient broadband antenna solutions, 5G/6G communication systems, high-speed digital circuits, radiofrequency and microwave systems. The material features an extremely smooth surface with nanometer-level precision, low alkaline content for chemical stability, optimized thermal expansion rate matching silicon wafers, and excellent performance for RF applications above 60GHz. Available in various thicknesses from 127 µm to 1.0 mm and beyond, it is currently available for R&D from batch processes with wafer sizes available upon request.
